Stasmayer is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Alignment Manger. Though manager is in the title this is not a people management role. This is a client facing technical Level 2 person that evaluates and aligns a client’s technology to predefined best practices. We are looking for a Unicorn with great customer service and communication skills that has excellent technical skills to join a high-performing support team. This role provides technical guidance and client recommendations on technology use, security, and compliance to external clients and internal staff, playing a key part in maintaining reliable and efficient IT operations.
Overview:
The Technical Alignment Manager is responsible for meeting with clients on a scheduled basis and ensuring their technology is aligned to industry and Stasmayer best practices and standards. In addition, this role is responsible for prospect assessments, onboarding discovery visits of new clients, and other onboarding duties. This role requires consistent high‑quality communication and strong documentation skills. Strong technical skills including firewall and networking experience are required. AI background and an eagerness to embrace AI is a plus
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provide technical alignment for client systems, including workstations, servers, networks, wireless, firewalls, switches and line‑of‑business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, and performance issues across wired and wireless environments, make recommendations on replacements and upgrades.
- Provide technical discovery and documentation for new clients during onboarding.
- Perform day of kick off task as part of the onboarding team.
- Meet or exceed team metrics for performance.
- Perform assessments of potential new clients for the sales team.
- Work with vCIO’s on strategic planning for clients and Stasmayer.
Principal Requirements:
- Prior technical support experience, or equivalent hands‑on IT experience/consulting
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize your time effectively
- Professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with wireless access point (AP) networking and troubleshooting
- Hands‑on experience supporting Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking and security devices (Cisco,Meraki, SonicWALL, WatchGuard, HP, or comparable platforms)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including M365 administration and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V
- Azure Virtual Desktop experience is a plus
- macOS support experience is a plus
- Experience supporting medical or law firm IT environments is a plus
