Nail Technician

Stas Nail Boutique, an upscale luxury nail salon in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, is seeking a talented, professional, and customer-focused Nail Technician. This role provides classic manicures and pedicures, full-service nail care, gel and structured manicures, and advanced nail art while delivering a polished client experience. The technician will join a collaborative team, work independently, report to the salon manager, and partner with front-desk staff. Commission 40-45% is based on skills, experience, and years in the industry, with opportunities for advanced technique training.

Responsibilities

• Perform classic manicures and pedicures.
• Provide full-service nail care, including gel and structured manicures.
• Apply gel products and create advanced nail art.
• Deliver cuticle care and precise nail shaping.
• Consult with clients to understand preferences and recommend suitable services.
• Maintain rigorous sanitation and infection-control procedures.
• Support appointments and collaborate with front-desk staff.
• Recommend appropriate retail products and maintain a high standard of customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Nail Technician License.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in nail care services.
• Strong manicure and pedicure techniques.
• Experience with gel nail application.
• Proficiency in nail shaping, infection control, and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent customer service and client consultation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
