The Baccarat Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our prestigious team.
This position supervises 40 employees in the Restaurant/Bar and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these employees within the department.
The Restaurant/bar Manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Delegation of Work Safety & Emergency Procedures
- Enforcement of Job Descriptions
- Job Performance Reviews
- Staff Morale
- Department scheduling
- Organization of documented employee files
- Rewarding & Disciplining employees
- Complete payroll on a daily basis
- Managing department costs within budgetary goals which include food, beverage, and labor costs
- Three years Food & Beverage management in luxury world class hotel
- Three years technical Food & Beverage experience and/or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Previous employee management in Local 6 union environment
- Primary quality detailed service ethic.
- Strong interpersonal staff and guest relations.
- Team minded approach to fellow workers.
- Ability to apply commons sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
