Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team . Employees deliver packages for FedEx . We currently offer Full Time and Part time position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations like homes, apartments ,business .
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
- Knowledge of route driving and navigation within the local area.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
