Jamie Allan’s Amaze is seeking a Group Sales Manager to drive ticket sales through strategic partnerships and high-impact outreach.
The ideal candidate understands the unique positioning of Amaze; a premium, visually spectacular magic show appealing to tourists, families, corporate groups, and experience-seekers, and knows how to convert that into consistent group sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a targeted group sales strategy to maximize occupancy and revenue

Drive advance sales across key verticals:

Corporate groups and buy-outs
-
NYC tourism market (domestic & international tour operators)
-
Student and youth groups (with a focus on accessible, high-impact entertainment)
-
Corporate outings, team-building, and client entertainment
-
Affinity groups (magic enthusiasts, social clubs, community organizations)
-
Faith based groups (Church groups, Jewish groups)
-

Identify new sales channels specific to experiential entertainment (e.g., concierge networks, experience curators)

Build and maintain relationships with:

Tour operators and wholesalers
-
Hotel concierge networks (Midtown focus)
-
Destination Management Companies (DMCs)

Travel trade organizations
-

Actively pursue inclusion in packaged experiences and itineraries
-
Drive increased revenue from group add-ons such as food and beverage, merchandise, special bespoke activations

Manage the full lifecycle of group bookings: outreach, negotiation, contracting, and follow-up

Coordinate group logistics including, but not limited to:

Seat holds and inventory management
-
Payment timelines and invoicing
-
Special requests and VIP experiences

Occasionally host key clients and partners at performances

Partner with marketing and ticketing teams to:

Develop group offers, promotions, and seasonal campaigns

Align messaging with Amaze’s brand as a high-end, immersive magic experience

Monitor sales pace and adjust strategies to support weekly targets

Maintain accurate tracking of leads, bookings, and outreach activity

Provide weekly reporting on:

Group sales revenue

Pipeline health and conversion rates

Market insights and opportunities

Qualifications
-
2–5 years of experience in group sales, preferably in live entertainment, attractions, or hospitality

Strong understanding of the NYC tourism and group sales ecosystem

Proven ability to drive revenue and meet sales targets

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
-
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
-
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with ticketing platforms and CRM systems
-
Existing relationships with NYC-based tour operators, concierges, or corporate planners and databases of group buyers/organizers
-
Experience selling experiential entertainment (magic, immersive theatre, attractions, etc.)

Familiarity with Off-Broadway sales dynamics and inventory management
-
Understanding of Times Square/Midtown tourist behavior
SALARY
$50,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
