This is a full-time, on-site role for a SaaS Sales Representative, located in San Marcos, CA. The SaaS Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, presenting Startup Science's platform to diverse stakeholders, and driving sales growth. The role involves lead generation, conducting product demonstrations, managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and contributing to the sales strategy. The representative will play a key role in connecting with entrepreneur support organizations and expanding the presence of Startup Science within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing techniques
- Ability to deliver dynamic product presentations and demos
- Proficiency in relationship management and customer service
- Knowledge of SaaS platforms and/or experience in technology sales
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurship support processes
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Experience with CRM software is a plus
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
