Site Manager

Department: Overnight Sanitation Operations

Responsibilities

· Safety First – As a Site Manager approaches the jobsite, safety should always be in one’s mind. Entering the facility property look for the windsock and always keep in mind where the wind is blowing in case of an ammonia leak you always know which way to evacuate in case of an emergency.

· PPE- Bring team members together prior to briefing and go ever the PPE Checklist with every employee to ensure that each employee has what they need to complete their job task safely. Have an employee pass out whatever is needed.

· Disburse cleaning tools needed for the job like green pads or flashlights and keep track of everything that is passed out so that it is returned, (great Food Safety practice).

· Team Communication and Accountability – Conduct a pre-shift meeting with sanitation team to go over any information that the customer might have passed on or any items needing attention. Reminding the employees nightly the importance of good safety/food safety and sanitation practices. Also reminding your employees of owning their area and inspecting for any damaged equipment or anything that may seem out of the ordinary and report accordingly. Relay a positive message to your employees nightly. It is always important to communicate and plan ahead for a successful night.

· Self-Accountability – Take it upon yourself to make your rounds in your facility to make sure your employees are safe and there are no setbacks. The first round is a very important round since you will be looking for any damaged equipment, potential hazards, and ensuring that your sanitation team is following the Supervisor Control and LOTO procedures. If there happens to be an issue quickly report to facility maintenance and your Area Manager.

· 7 steps of Sanitation – Make sure that there aren’t any uncovered control panels and 1. Dry Pick-up step if followed. (Drain baskets are to be in drain at all times). 2. Disassembly- Communicate with facility maintenance as soon as areas are released to ensure equipment is disassembled in a timely manner. 3. First Rinse – Ensure this is done very well so that your foam step is effective. 4. Foam and Scrub – Be sure that everything is completely covered and scrub where necessary. 5. Final Rinse – Very thorough rinse. 6. Self-Inspection – Inspect area, it is important to be very meticulous using a really good flashlight. 7. Sanitize – Full coverage foaming all angles of equipment, walls, and floors. (Make certain that titrations are being done)

· Time Awareness – Always be aware of times and when the areas are released and what time we are turning them in. (Enter times in Startkleen app).

· Startkleen Applications – Utilize the Startkleen applications in order to complete your reports efficiently and effectively. (Labor, Chemical Inventory, Billing, Equipment Maintenance Report, and Corrective Actions).

· Staying Positive – When areas are ready to be released to QA, it is always good practice to greet QA inspectors and USDA Inspectors as they arrive and stay attentive no matter what the situation. Always with a smile (never break).

· Organization – As the job is complete and employees are getting ready to leave, make sure that the chemical room and our lockers are always left tidy.

· Be Humble – As your team members exit it is good to always thank them for a job well done.

· Paycom – Follow up daily on employee time and attendance.

· Documentation – Make certain that all documentation is filled out accordingly, always be audit ready.

· Riding for the Brand – As a Site Manager you are the face of StartKleen at your facility. Always check in with the customer on your way out. Let the customer that you are there for anything they may need. Its always good for the customer to see that you care, this creates a long strong business relationship.

· Bleed Green and Gold – Have pride in what you do! Your job is essential to your country.

· Turn in weekly payroll, billing, chemical inventories, and supply orders if needed to Area Manager on Friday night Saturday morning for review. Then turn in to office on time.

· Staffing – You will be in charge of recruiting, hiring, and training new employees. You may receive support from your Area Manager if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
