We are seeking experienced Dailies Operators for upcoming feature and episodic projects who thrive in production environments, understand the importance of creative intent, data fidelity and take pride in delivering flawless work under pressure.
Seeking New York/New Jersey locals able to work on-set and on location throughout the region. Remote operator positions are also available.
What You'll Do:
- Manage on-set and near-set dailies workflows for premium scripted and unscripted productions
- Ingest, process, sync, color-manage, QC, and deliver camera media to editorial and post teams
- Work closely with cinematographers, DITs, editorial teams, and production personnel to ensure smooth media flow throughout production
- Create viewing media, editorial deliverables, metadata reports, and client-facing outputs
- Maintain rigorous data security, backup, and quality control standards
- Help implement and refine modern workflows that seamlessly connect production and post-production
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Dailies Operator on premium feature films and episodic series Understanding of camera formats, basic color science, media management, and editorial workflows
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure production environments
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-facing demeanor
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production and post teams
- Passion for the craft of filmmaking and the evolving future of post-production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Daylight & Corlorfront software
- Experience supporting high-end episodic television and feature film productions
- Familiarity with Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, and contemporary cloud-based workflows
- Understanding of modern production-to-post infrastructure, including remote collaboration and cloud-connected pipelines
