Software Test Analyst 5 - Salesforce/CRM Tester (Local to MI Only)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce/CRM Tester to support testing activities for the Michigan Enterprise Contact Center team. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce QA/testing experience, particularly with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Azure DevOps Test Suites, API testing, and test automation.

Responsibilities :

• Work in an Agile environment and understand Agile methodologies.
• Participate in vendor requirement sessions and understand customer requirements.
• Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Suites, and test cases using Azure DevOps.
• Develop test scripts based on requirements for new projects and enhancements.
• Interpret requirements and user stories and translate them into effective test cases.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, developers, and project teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Develop positive and negative test cases based on Salesforce application requirements.
• Understand Salesforce technical environments, including Production and Sandbox environments.
• Perform regression testing for new solutions and enhancements.
• Test Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud functionality.
• Perform API testing using REST API, SOAP API, and Bulk API.
• Utilize tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar API testing tools.
• Identify automation frameworks and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with test engineers to implement automation within Continuous Integration environments.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with existing automation scripts.
• Document test results and defects and manage defects through resolution in Azure DevOps.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test scripts, test results, and defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure performance and scalability requirements are met.
• Follow applicable security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
• Develop training and knowledge-transfer plans for transition to Maintenance & Operations.
• Provide strong written and verbal communication and facilitate problem-solving activities.
• Support full Salesforce lifecycle implementation and QA activities.

Qualifications

• 6 years of Salesforce QA/Testing experience
• 4 years of Salesforce Service Cloud experience
• 4 years of Azure DevOps Test Suite experience
• Strong Salesforce testing experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitations.
• Experience with Salesforce Production and Sandbox environments.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and executing test scripts.
• Strong knowledge of QA/testing best practices.
• Experience documenting, tracking, and managing defects in Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce objects and functionality, including:
  • Flows
  • Lightning
  • Apex
  • AppExchange packages

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of NICE CXone or other CCaaS testing experience
• 1 year of SQL experience
• 1 year of Selenium, test automation, or other automation tools
• Experience working with State of Michigan or other government/public-sector processes and guidelines.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, and Bulk API testing.
• Experience with Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday from Day 1
