Associate Therapist (W‑2) - CSW, ACMHC, or AMFT
Part‑Time | Outpatient Private Practice
Hybrid Remote – Layton, UT
We are seeking motivated and clinically grounded associate therapists to join our growing trauma‑informed private practice as W‑2 employees. This role is ideal for clinicians working toward full licensure who want consistent referrals, strong administrative support, and a collaborative clinical environment focused on ethical, evidence‑based care.
This position emphasizes trauma‑informed and evidence‑based treatment while supporting professional growth toward independent licensure.
COMPENSATION
Base pay starts at $40 per completed clinical hour
Additional compensation is available based on completed training or certifications:
- EMDR trained: $5 per clinical hour
- IFS, DBT, or Gottman Method (Level 1 or higher) completed: $5 per clinical hour
Total compensation range: $40–$50 per clinical hour
(Pay is determined at hire based on verified training and certifications)
Opportunities for future pay increases may be available based on consistency, performance, and longevity.
CASELOAD & SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS
- Designed for clinicians maintaining an average of at least 20 completed clinical sessions per week
- Evening availability for at least one evening per week (up to 8:00 PM) or weekend availability is required
- Caseload and schedule planning is collaborative and focused on sustainability

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide ethical, high‑quality clinical services under associate licensure
- Complete clinical documentation within 48 hours (supported by AI tools)
- Collect copays and consistently enforce cancellation and no‑show policies
- Accurately track billed clinical hours for payroll
- Schedule ongoing client sessions following intake
- Maintain professional communication and collaborative team involvement
- Track and maintain required CEUs for licensure and report progress every 6 months
NO‑SHOW & LATE CANCELLATION POLICY
Clinicians are paid their full clinical hour rate for no‑show or late‑cancel sessions when the applicable fee is successfully collected from the client. Sessions without a collectible fee are unpaid. Clinicians are responsible for reviewing attendance policies and ensuring a valid payment method is on file.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate license in Utah (CSW, ACMHC, or AMFT)
- License in good standing
- Commitment to ethical, trauma‑informed care
- Professional reliability, strong boundaries, and collaborative mindset
- At least 2 references from prior employment or internships
- Actively working toward full licensure
