Education
What you bring to SBHG:
- High School Diploma (Required).
- 1 year of experience providing substance use prevention and treatment services.
- Registered Alcohol/Drug Technician (must complete the certification program within the required timeframe) OR
- Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor
- Valid California Driver's License (Required)
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

Facilitates various education and awareness workshops on topics appropriate to recovery. Assists clients in recovery and discharge planning.
Division/Program Overview
- Community Based programs.
- Provides programs for children, adolescents, and transitional age youth (TAY) with Mental Health services.
- An experienced staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, mental health therapist / Clinician, parent partners, and other counselors
- Provide case management, mental health care, and a range of support services in schools, homes or other community settings.
- Partner with family members, school administrators and faculty, county social workers, case managers, probation officers, and other agencies.
- Utilize Evidence Based Practice (EBP) to ensure clients make positive changes in their life.
