What You Bring To SBHG (qualifications)
The Registered Nurse is the treatment team member who is responsible for overseeing all nursing duties and related nursing activities for clients. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for the supervision of the nursing department staff assigned to their respective shift. This position may be responsible for managing the overall milieu in the facility and general operations to facilitate quality client care, optimum facility operations and preserve the safety of those therein which may include the shift oversight of staff designated to other departments (i.e. Safety Specialists, QA staff, Clerks, Clinical staff, etc.) as well as the nursing department. This position is responsible for accurately documenting client care in the Electronic Medical Records; collaborating with internal and external departments and agencies to facilitate optimal client care and facility operations. Licensed staff (that meet qualifications) may be asked to become LPS designee certified to facilitate the completion of “applications 5150/5585” for clients in need of such.

What You Bring To SBHG (qualifications)
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate from an accredited school of registered nursing, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One (1) year experience with seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and adults in a mental health care setting, preferred.
- One (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to pass facility Medication Test
- Current CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Valid California Driver's License

Division/Program Overview
- 24/7 outpatient program
- Rapid mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and medication support
- Walk-in’s welcome
- Clients may stay up to 24 hours
- An adult unit equipped to serve 12 adults (ages 18 and up)
- An BHUCC unit equipped to serve six teens (ages 13 to 17)
