What You Bring To SBHG (qualifications)
- Licensing: Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.
- Certification: Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) certification required (can be obtained after hire).
- Education/Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) plus one year of full-time experience in consumer-directed services within a mental health, healthcare, or social services setting.
Requires One Of The Following Education And Experience Combinations
- Associate degree: Plus, six years of experience in the mental health field.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Mental Health Field): Plus, four years of experience in the mental health field.
- Master’s Degree (Mental Health Field): Plus, two years of experience in the mental health field.

Division/Program Overview
- 24/7 voluntary residential setting specifically for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) at risk and need a higher level of care, but lower than a psychiatric hospital
- Facility equipped to serve up to 15 Youth
- Provides mental health services that include individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and case management
- Incorporates the tenets of recovery, peer support, and identifying community connections
- Connects individuals to educational and vocational services and initiating the process of locating housing
