Working Location:

Inpatient facility in Merced, CA

Working Hours/Shift

Sunday to Thursday 6 am - 2:30 pm

This position is eligible for our Commuter Benefit Program for:

• This position is eligible for commuter benefits for those who travel more than 20 miles one way from their residence to their work location.

What You Bring To SBHG

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets preferred. Or, Six (6) months housekeeping experience in a hospital, hotel, motel or similar work environment.
• License or Certification Valid California Driver's License
  
  
  

How You Will Make a Difference

• Prepares food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.
• Maintains logs such as cleaning logs, temperature logs, etc.
• Cleans and disinfect kitchen and other facility areas.
• Conducts and assists both large and small activity groups.
• Assists in teaching and educating clients in ADLs.
• Transports clients as needed in facility vehicle.

• 24/7 inpatient voluntary program
• 16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)
• Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
• Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
