Stars Therapy Services is a company dedicated to empowering children and families toward happiness and wellness. We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our clinical team in the Bay Area to provide play-based therapy to children ranging from 3 to 6 years old. We primarily focus on the five areas of development.
Essential Functions:
Provide services in the child’s natural environment (in families’ homes or other community settings).
Collaborate with a clinical team of supervisors including direct oversight and training from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Implement individualized treatment plans targeting skills and maladaptive behaviors using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and techniques
Collect Data to track clients’ progress toward their goals
Assist with parent training by providing feedback to caregivers regarding how to respond to maladaptive behaviors
Help teach children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities communication skills, social skills, play skills, self-help skills, adaptive skills, and daily living skills.
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
Qualifications:
Experience working with children with developmental delays, learning disabilities, autism, or behavior disorders.
Experience in child development, behavioral therapy, early childhood education, infant teaching, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a related field is preferred.
Comfortable thinking outside the box, adapting to a changing environment, and maintaining professionalism with the families.
Bilingual (preferred)
Previous job roles such as Behavior Technicians (BTs), Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs), or even ABA Therapists are a plus!
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites.
Valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain DOJ background clearance.
Willing to obtain CPR certification (Company provides upon training)
Ability to walk, run, and tolerate prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to read, comprehend, and write communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
High school diploma
