Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse at Starrina Health, located in Sioux Falls, SD. The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive home based patient care including monitoring pt vitals, administering IV medications from antibiotics to IVIG, and collaborating with healthcare teams to implement care plans. Additional responsibilities include educating patients and families, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. The position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to communicate effectively, a patient-centered approach, and the utmost professionalism. The RN will administer all medications per the prescribing MD order.

$50/hr plus mileage will be reimbursed

Qualifications
- Proficient in patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, and recording accurate medical histories
- Skilled in administering medications, performing procedures, and assisting in treatments
- Experience in developing and implementing patient care plans with the healthcare team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family education
- Knowledge of healthcare protocols, safety regulations, and infection control practices
- Possession of a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and make informed decisions
- Experience in a similar healthcare or clinical role is preferred
- 1 year nursing experience in acute care or home infusion with proficiency IV starts, port access, lab draws, and PICC line dressing change.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and family education
