Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is currently seeking a PRECISION ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN FOR OUR 2nd SHIFT. We are looking for detail oriented, quality minded candidates to join our team.
Come build products using granite and other materials to be used in the semi-conductor industry and other industries. You will work in our state-of-the-art, climate controlled facility located in Waite Park, Minnesota. We are in close proximity to St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Clearwater and other central Minnesota cities/towns. Tru-Stone Technologies is an EEO/Affirmative Action employer.
2nd shift position starts at $20-$23 per hour plus a shift differential of 15% per hour.
We offer a $2000.00 sign-on bonus for entry level candidates plus and additional $1000.00 for 2nd shift, in your first year.

2nd shift general hours are 11am to 9pm. Monday through Thursday. Training may need to be done on 1st shift.
What will you do in this position?
Assemble, inspect, clean and prepare sub components and finished products for shipment as required. Produce precision surfaces on granite components prior to assembly using lapping plates or automated equipment. Monitor products on a continuous basis to ensure products are of prescribed quality and meet both Customer and Company expectations, requirements, and standards.
How will you do it?
- Prepare, clean and assemble granite components of various sizes. Clean room.
- Assemble mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components, may include soldering and testing for performance and proper function of the assemblies.
- Lift and position work pieces, manually or with hoists, cranes or forklifts, and secure them on tables or stands.
- Set up, operate, or tend tools that remove material on work pieces.
- Measure work pieces using precision measuring devices.
- Basic understanding of blueprints, work orders, or instructions to determine product specifications, requirements, and operational sequences.
- Supports Operational Excellence and other continuous improvement programs as needed.
What do you need to know?
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of precision measuring equipment a plus
- Ability to assemble which may include stooping, bending, climbing
- At least 6 months manufacturing experience helpful
