- Booking and billing new and renewal accounts
- Assist underwriters in renewal preparation
- Assist in attaining various reports required for the underwriting function
- Perform risk analysis by inputting data into risk decisioner in the proper format
- Prepare policies and endorsements for underwriter review as well as process the endorsement in Starr Tech software programs such as Chameleon and Sales force
- Assist with internal audit process, following up with brokers on needed information
- Preform all other duties as directed by area management
- 1-2 years of related Property underwriting assistance OR Inland Marine or Construction underwriting assistance experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
