Position Summary:
STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking an HR Professional who has experience supporting a full range of human resources functions and is a reliable partner in our Human Resources Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational and administrative functions essential to the success of our HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a background in assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training coordination, policy compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. This position reports to the Talent Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding process back office to ensure smooth and welcoming experience for new hires
- Lead New Hire Orientations bi-weekly
- Co-lead projects such as internship program, mentorship program, interview blitzes, and other projects as needed
- Manage new hire paperwork, including offer letters, background checks, and onboarding documentation
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of I-9 forms and E-Verify compliance
- Maintain employee files and HRIS data in compliance with legal and organizational standards
- Maintain employee records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards
- Process HR-related invoices and maintain accurate records for budget tracking
- Assist in planning and executing company-wide events, including town halls, appreciation days, and cultural celebrations
- Prepare materials and logistics for company-wide events
- Assist with employee recognition and engagement programs
- Maintain standardized HR procedures and up-to-date documentation
- Collaborate with Payroll, Accounting, and Operations as needed to ensure smooth interdepartmental workflows
- Support HR technology and systems planning, including HRIS, LMS, and analytic tools
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and planning frameworks
- Perform other position related duties as assigned

Basic:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- 3 or more years of human resources experience
- Familiarity with labor law compliance, HR documentation practices, and onboarding procedures
- HRIS experience required
- Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
Preferred:
- Knowledge of ADP software
- Analytical and project management skills
- Experience working with projects from inception to completion
- Bilingual (English and Korean)
