Location: Starmount Forest Country Club - Greensboro, NC

Position Summary: At Starmount Forest Country Club, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional member experiences through state-of-the-art amenities intertwined with rich traditions. We're currently seeking a dynamic and welcoming First Impressions and Communications Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role is at the heart of creating an inviting atmosphere for our members - whether it be in person, over the phone, or through our digital channels. You will be instrumental in crafting and disseminating communications that reflect our mission to foster a diverse, inclusive, and family-oriented culture across all our social and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications:

• Oversee the creation and distribution of communication materials and menus, ensuring high-quality content and presentation.
• Generate engaging content for social media platforms by attending club events and capturing moments to maintain a vibrant and interactive online presence.
• Manage daily updates for digital signage and the club's website, ensuring all event information is current and accurate.

First Impressions:

• Serve as the first point of contact: answering the main phone line, directing calls, and warmly greeting all visitors.
• Offer refreshments as appropriate and manage reservations for Bistro 59, ensuring seamless communication with the hostess about daily reservation volumes.
• Handle reservations for club functions, possessing thorough knowledge of event offerings to address any member queries.
• Proactively reach out to members to confirm event reservations and manage take-out orders for special club events (e.g., Thanksgiving, Derby Day, Passover).

Administrative:

• Efficiently distribute mail, prepare and dispatch birthday and anniversary cards for COO/GM signature, and maintain the banquet event order (BEO) book.
• Maintain up-to-date member files by entering new members into the system, including preparing new member folders and managing the transition of resigned members to the inactive file.
• Oversee the enrollment and deactivation of fitness center access
• Support the executive team as needed.

• Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a natural ability to make others feel welcomed and valued.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information effectively and engagingly.
• Social media savviness, with the capability to create captivating content that resonates with our audience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Canva

Position Reports To: Membership Marketing Director

This is a full-time position, scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, with some evenings and holidays required for special events.

Compensation: This full-time position offers an annual salary of $40,000–$45,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
