CNC Mill Machinist
Starlite Diversified, Inc. is currently seeking skilled CNC Horizontal, Kitamura and/or Vertical Mill Machinists.
Starlite has been in business for 50 years and is well known for our quality and ability to machine large, complex components for the oil & gas, mining, power generation, rail, and beverage industries.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities of a skilled Machinist:
· Interpret complex blueprints, including GD&T, to determine sequence of operations in machining a variety of parts.
· Set-up, fixture, program, and machine the required features on a variety of parts on CNC equipment using Fanuc Controls to specified requirements and tolerances, within expected timeframes.
· Use inspection and measuring tools and equipment to verify conformance to specified requirements and tolerances.
· Communicate effectively and work well with others; specifically, those who are involved or contribute to producing parts that you are assigned or co-assigned to machine.
· Possess own tools in the form of a well-equipped tool chest.
· Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
· Ability to use computer and scanning devise to accurately enter data into MRP system.
Working Conditions:
· First Shift, Full time position, over-time will be mandatory if schedule requires.
· Employee will be subjected to standing, walking, lifting to 50 pounds, bending and exposure to fumes and chemicals (cutting fluids, etc.).
Wage is based on experience.
