Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
Weekend Schedule:
- Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Total: 14 hours per weekend
About the Opportunity
Starlink Care is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide weekend HCBS services for two members with developmental disabilities located in Phoenix, near the 51 Freeway.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn additional income on weekends while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need support.
We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and committed to providing quality, person-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to two members based on their needs and service plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, as authorized.
- Encourage independence and development of daily living skills.
- Provide companionship, supervision, and a safe, supportive environment.
- Assist with recreational activities and community engagement as appropriate.
- Complete required service documentation and electronic visit verification (EVV).
- Maintain professional communication with members, guardians, and the agency.
- Follow all applicable Arizona DDD requirements and service guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Ability to meet applicable Arizona DDD background and fingerprint clearance requirements.
- CPR/First Aid and Article 9 training, or ability to complete required training before providing services.
- Prevention and Support training, when applicable.
- Direct Care Worker (DCW) certification if providing Attendant Care.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and dependability.
- Ability to consistently fulfill the agreed-upon weekend schedule.
