Satellite Internet Installer (1099 Contractor)

Pay & Schedule
( $195 per job).
- Consistent pipeline: average 1-2 jobs per week when available in your area.
- 1099 contractor: paid in full with no tax withholding (you manage your own taxes).
What You’ll Do
- Install and align Starlink satellite equipment at customer sites.
- Securely mount dishes (rooftops or appropriate mounting locations).
- Run and neatly terminate low-voltage cabling; weatherproof all exterior work.
- Configure routers/mesh systems and verify connectivity/performance.
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve signal issues on-site.
- Educate customers on basic system use and best practices; provide friendly, professional service.
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with telecom, low-voltage cabling, or residential/commercial networking.
- Comfortable with hand tools, drilling, sealing, and neat cable runs.
- Networking know-how (home Wi-Fi/routers; Cisco or similar a plus).
- Strong problem-solving and clear communication.
- Self-starter mentality—reliable, safe, and customer-focused.
- Experience preferred, but training is available for motivated candidates with the right aptitude.
Requirements
- Ladder capable of reaching 3 stories.
- Standard tools to complete a Starlink install (drill, anchors, sealant, cable tools, PPE).
- Ability to work on roofs and in varied weather.
- Liability insurance (you carry your own policy).
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle.
