RESIDENT SERVICES DIRECTOR - Luxury Retirement Community

Position Summary

Assists residents in assimilating into our community, provides appropriate resources as necessary, and coordinates the move-in of new residents or transfers between lifestyles of established residents.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Makes all residents, whether new move-ins or those who are already established, feel at home by providing the highest standard of customer service.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with our preferred providers for primary care, home care, therapy, private duty in order to recommend appropriate services in the community for our residents.
• Identifies residents with particular physical or mental needs and recommends necessary services. Follows up with visits and phone calls until situation is resolved or improved.
• Tracks resident hospitalization and emergency room visits. Visits residents while out of the community.
• Participates in coordination of care with Community wellness providers and home health agency provider.
• Assists in the transition of residents from the Independent to the Assisted Living Community and/or Memory Care.
• Maintains awareness of residents who are not feeling well. Visits personally and by phone.
• Coordinate new resident orientation.
• Assists in event marketing both internally and externally.
• Other duties as assigned.
