Summary/Objective

Conduct daily sales meetings and product presentations in the Southwest territory including TX & NM. Build new and existing accounts by providing dedicated and concentrated service, generate sales initiatives, and supply customers with sales solutions. Communicate with Inside Sales and other Regional Sales Managers with and market feedback and sales strategies.

Essential Functions:

1. Conduct daily sales calls and product meetings in an effort to grow the Northeast Territory sales and to cultivate business relationships

2. Prospect new accounts that Starline USA, Inc is not doing business with on a weekly basis and

pursue accounts that have sales that are dormant, declining or stagnant.

3. Offer product ideas to customers regarding specific projects

4. Introduce new products to targeted segments

5. Attend National, Regional, and End User trade shows

6. Follow- up on large orders and large quote requests that occur in the Northeast territory on a regular basis

7. Work closely with Inside Sales team to ensure quotes, coop, and catalog programs, samples, and other daily business is on track for completion

8. Assist SVP and the company with other tasks as needed in support of the Northeast Territory in an effort to grow sales

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel:

Travel is expected for this position to attend trade shows, sales meetings and product presentations in the Northeast territory.

Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.

2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

3. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with business owners.

4. 2-5 years of sales experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.

2. 5 years of sales experience within the promotional product industry
