We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team in Columbia, MD. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Balance daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management review
- Handle late-night check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing exceptional guest service
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with a friendly attitude
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Manage multi-line phone systems, take reservations, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Uphold phone etiquette standards while assisting guests over the phone or in person
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as needed
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, security procedures, and safety standards during overnight shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management, hotel management, or front desk operations preferred. Previous experience with Opera Cloud PMD preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel operations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor with strong phone etiquette skills
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems preferred
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
