Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team in Columbia, MD. Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of overnight front desk activities, guest account accuracy, and overall guest satisfaction during nighttime hours. Duties

• Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
• Balance daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management review
• Handle late-night check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing exceptional guest service
• Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with a friendly attitude
• Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming
• Manage multi-line phone systems, take reservations, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
• Uphold phone etiquette standards while assisting guests over the phone or in person
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as needed
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, security procedures, and safety standards during overnight shifts

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality management, hotel management, or front desk operations preferred. Previous experience with Opera Cloud PMD preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
• Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel operations is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor with strong phone etiquette skills
• Experience working with multi-line phone systems preferred
• Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
