Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food prep stations
- Set up buffet stations, replenish food items, and ensure all displays are attractive and stocked
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for billing and transactions
- Buss tables promptly after guests finish their meals and assist with general cleaning duties
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items
- Support catering or banquet setups when required
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of breakfast services
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred; including roles such as host/host or dietary aide
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Experience in cleaning, bussing tables, and maintaining a hygienic environment
- Knowledge of coffee making or barista skills is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently during busy breakfast hours while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Team-oriented mindset with good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the restaurant or hotel setting
