Position: Loan Document Production Specialist/Receptionist

Starkweather Law Office: The Starkweather Law Office is a small Albuquerque-based law firm specializing in transactional law with a single focus on the generation of small business loans.

Overview/Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented loan document production specialist/receptionist for our small Law Office. Candidate will be responsible for setting up loan files, generating loan documents, closing out loans etc. using common software (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook) as well answering phones and assisting clients. The position will require daily engagement, via phone and computer, with multiple entities throughout the loan process, which may include borrowers, banks, and title companies. Once trained, the individual in this role will be responsible for working independently and will be responsible for identified pieces of the loan generation process.

Location: This position will be on-site at the Starkweather Law Office. This is not a virtual position.

Hours: This is a part-time position ranging from 20-30 hours per week, Monday – Friday during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm MST.

Required Skills and Attributes:

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.

2. Willingness and aptitude to learn specialized processes and work independently once trained.

3. Ability to successfully multitask, answer phones and assist clients, and thrive in a detail-oriented setting.

4. Critical thinking skills and a willingness to problem-solve.

5. Strong communication/interpersonal skills and professionalism in working with the public as well as others within the law office.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

1. Relevant experience in a professional office setting.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
