- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards
- Operate cleaning machinery safely, and industrial cleaning tools, following proper procedures for maintenance and care
- Follow chemical handling protocols for cleaning agents to ensure safety for yourself and others
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques
- Familiarity with chemical agent handling and safety procedures for various cleaning products
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning in busy environments
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures is a plus; previous porter or maintenance experience is advantageous
