The ideal candidate has experience with accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting. Experience working with retail, inventory, real estate, or multi-entity organizations is highly desirable.
What You'll Do
As our Bookkeeper, you'll play an important role in maintaining the financial health of multiple business entities. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and post general ledger journal entries
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Manage bank deposits and reconciliations
- Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices
- Maintain payroll and AP uploads in QuickBooks
- Record inventory and cost of goods sold transactions
- Prepare trial balances and post adjusting entries
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
- Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
- Strong accounting fundamentals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred Experience
- Retail accounting
- Real estate accounting
- Inventory management
- Multi-company or multi-entity accounting
- Point-of-sale (POS) systems
- NetSuite experience
- Payroll processing
