Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fabrication production to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team while fostering accountability, teamwork, and ownership.
- Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production, quality, and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Partner with Quality, Inventory, Maintenance, Shipping, and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Train employees on equipment, processes, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct performance coaching, provide ongoing feedback, and support employee evaluations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Promote a positive team culture built on communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience supervising or leading teams of 20 or more employees.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of production scheduling, quality systems, and employee development.
- Proficient with basic computer applications and production reporting.
- Experience using ERP or other manufacturing software preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and around industrial equipment.
