Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects related to process and utility systems
- Develop and review engineering documentation including:
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Mechanical and piping drawings
- Perform piping stress analysis, line sizing, and equipment evaluations to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Support installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of chemical process equipment and systems
- Coordinate project execution activities with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering teams, contractors, and vendors
- Participate in HAZOPs, PHAs, process safety reviews, and regulatory compliance activities
- Review and approve vendor equipment specifications and technical submittals
- Provide technical support for pneumatic solids handling, slurry systems, and fluid transport applications (preferred)
- Maintain project schedules, technical documentation, and engineering deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 6 years of experience in Project Engineering and Mechanical Engineering within chemical processing or industrial manufacturing environments
