Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of electrical systems for complex industrial facilities, including semiconductor, laboratory, and mission-critical environments. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on design expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor design teams, and perform quality reviews of engineering deliverables.
- Prepare electrical specifications, construction documents, and bid packages.
- Review vendor submittals and coordinate with contractors during installation and commissioning.
- Support construction activities, perform site inspections, and complete punch walk activities.
- Collaborate with clients, owners, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams to develop project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in project planning, proposals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License with the ability to obtain licensure in Idaho.
- 12 years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial or commercial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), voltage drop, arc flash, short-circuit, and load flow analysis.
- Experience with electrical equipment specification, vendor submittal review, and field coordination.
- Ability to support construction activities and work effectively in active construction environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
