Job Overview
We are looking for a Project Engineer to provide engineering support for pharmaceutical projects. The role will support equipment upgrades, process improvements, capital projects, and project execution from design through startup.
Key Responsibilities
Support pharmaceutical engineering and capital projects.
Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, expansions, and construction activities.
Provide technical support for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and processes.
Develop and review P&IDs, URSs, engineering specifications, and project documents.
Support equipment design, selection, procurement, and installation.
Prepare specifications and RFQs for contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Track project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and documentation.
Provide engineering support during design, commissioning, and startup.
Troubleshoot technical and engineering issues during project execution.
Ensure projects meet GMP and regulatory requirements.
Maintain engineering documentation according to SOPs and quality standards.
Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, contractors, vendors, and other project teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting engineering or capital projects.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, utilities, and processes.
Experience with P&IDs, URSs, and engineering specifications.
Experience with equipment design, procurement, and installation.
Experience with commissioning and startup activities.
Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Good technical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
