Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Medical Services Specialist to support medical safety and pharmacovigilance activities within a regulated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, experience handling medical product inquiries, and knowledge of adverse event reporting and case management processes. This role requires collaboration with Quality Assurance, Customer Service, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical support for the intake and documentation of medical product experiences and adverse events.
• Process and manage safety cases in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support adverse event reporting activities and ensure timely, accurate case processing.
• Serve as a liaison with Quality Assurance regarding product quality complaints involving adverse events.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to provide product information and coordinate product replacements when required.
• Assist healthcare professionals and consumers by providing approved medical and product information.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and pharmacovigilance standards.
• Support process improvement initiatives and participate in project-related activities.
• Work effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve departmental objectives.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related scientific discipline.
• RN, BSN, BS Pharm, PharmD, or advanced healthcare/scientific degree preferred.
• 2 4 years of clinical experience, or 2 3 years of clinical experience with 1 year of pharmacovigilance experience.
• Nursing experience preferred, particularly in Critical Care, ICU, Cardiac Care, or Emergency Room settings.
• Understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and adverse event case management.
• Knowledge of industry regulations including ICH, FDA, EMEA, and MHRA guidelines.
• Experience with case processing procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
