What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Stark Industrial LLC?
Stark Industrial LLC is currently looking for a quality inspector to join our quality team. We manufacture a wide variety of parts and assemblies. Inspection will be focused on CNC machined metal and plastic parts. Tasks will be diverse and varied throughout the day.
Job responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively as part of our quality team with other inspectors.
- Working collaboratively with machinists, engineers, and production planning personnel.
- Working independently on inspection tasks.
- Read and interpret part drawings / work instructions.
- Dimensional inspection of parts at all stages of production.
- Analysis of inspection results and clear communication of findings to manufacturing supervisors.
- Investigating returns and documenting non-conformances / corrective actions.
- Follow all procedures as outlined in our quality manual and work instructions.
Job requirements include:
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience with dimensional measurement equipment (micrometers, calipers, bore mics, plug/thread gages, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ISO 9000 quality systems. Auditing experience is a plus.
- Experience with GD&T is a plus.
- Experience with capital equipment (CMM, contour tracing, vision systems, surface finish machine, etc.) is a plus.
