- Filing, collection of tax payments, miscellaneous receipts, and issuing refund checks.
- Reconciles bank statements.
- Primary contact for answering phones and assisting customers at counter with research and general questions and requests.
- County inventory tracking.
- Records Planning/Zoning minutes.
- Check and stamp different types of deeds for recording.
- Assist with election duties whenever an election is held in Stark County.
- Assists with school record requests.
- Perform record retention and office organization duties.
- Data uploads.
- Performs related work as required.
- Associate degree in related field or two years of experience in staff support and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and ability to adapt to computer software, specific to this position.
- Confidence and ability to follow through with tasks, organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, employees and the public.
- Ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines in an environment of continuous interruptions.
- Ability to learn how to read legal land descriptions and land measurements.
- Ability to perform calculations and balance.

- Physical environment consists of a desk job in the standard environment. Will include physical motions of finger dexterity for frequent use of PC keyboard, sitting and standing positions.
