Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced banking environment? Starion Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist in Mandan, ND to support retail and business banking operations through accurate transaction processing, exception handling, and operational support. This is a temporary 6-month position.

Position: Temporary Deposit Operations Specialist
Location: Mandan, North Dakota
Position Type: Temporary – 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of deposit operations functions including processing exception items, balancing official bank checks, processing return items, and verifying endorsements onlarge items.
- Process notices, statements, reclamations,addendas, ACH non-post reports, incoming batches, and Federal Reserve/Bank of North Dakota files while meeting established deadlines.
- Provide high-quality support and solutions for internal and external customer inquiries and perform miscellaneous account maintenance.
- Maintain procedures and historical recordsin accordance withbanking regulations, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
- Utilize various banking systems and software to complete operational tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Remain up to date on compliance regulations, bank policies, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- One to three years of banking, deposit operations, or related experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple and sometimes competing tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiencywith banking systems, operational processes, and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
