What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freight Broker position at StarHunt?
We are actively hiring experienced Freight Brokers with an established book of business to join a growing domestic logistics and freight brokerage operation. This role is ideal for sales-driven professionals who already manage shipper relationships and want strong operational support, flexibility, and unlimited earning potential.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow your existing book of business
- Develop new shipper relationships and lanes
- Quote, book, and manage domestic freight (FTL, LTL, partials, dedicated)
- Build and maintain carrier relationships
- Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers
- Coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery
- Work closely with operations to ensure service excellence
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of domestic freight brokerage experience
- Established book of business with active shippers
- Strong understanding of U.S. trucking markets
- Proven ability to generate and grow revenue
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, sales-driven mindset
