What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Construction GM/President position at Starhired?
We're looking for a hands-on civil construction General Manager/President with experience to run our company’s day to day operations in multiple States. Your daily tasks include but are not limited to handling operations, engineering, field managers and field supervisors, developing and putting action plans in place to achieve objectives, systems integration, and management. You'll contribute your expertise in the areas of civil engineering, project management, budgeting, full P&L, resource allocation, and execution of time sensitive projects. We're looking for a progressive thinker to lead our existing team and help grow the company. You will be capable of managing large complex tasks and are able to identify and act on priorities with sound decision-making to deliver results.
Job Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction company.

Execute projects.

Validate projects and prioritize.

Work with field teams and managers.

Serve as organizational leader working with clients and suppliers.

Must be hands on and be able to help the team complete complex projects.

Travel to different sites in different States to ensure everyone is on task.

Work with private and public stakeholders.

Manage accounting and full KPI duties.
Required

Experience with heavy civil, earthworks, or other civil construction required.

Hands on, able to be a doer and an organization driver.

History of growing and training team members

Civil Construction or Engineering degree required.
