JOB DESCRIPTION –SHUTTLE VAN DRIVER
COMPANY– StarForce National Corporation is a Department of Defense authorized passenger Transportation Company. Our primary mission is the safe and efficient transportation of young men and women who are entering military service. Our customers are the U.S. Armed Forces located in Shreveport, LA. We are seeking drivers to work with an established team.
JOB DUTIES – Drivers needed for driving a passenger van from Shreveport, LA MEPS to hotel in Bossier City, typically Monday-Thursday (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM) This is a permanent part time position. Driver will work scheduled Service Sectors per week and must be flexible when needed. Scheduled Service Sectors will vary per week. Driver will operate a 15 passenger Van. Driver will maintain daily and cyclic paperwork supplied by the company.
TRAINING -$150 for completed training, payable after thirty (30) days of continued employment.
WAGES – estimated $87.89 Monday thru Thursday (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Drivers are paid by the Service Sector, and are paid twice a month via direct deposit as W2 employees. The job is part-time. StarForce pays the Prevailing Wage, or higher.
JOB REQUIREMENTS— the job requires a high school diploma/GED. Driver must possess a valid Drivers License w/REAL ID. Driver must have a clean driving record verified by a current MVR report which the applicant must provide at the interview. Must have a current DOT physical, or be able to pass the DOT physical; and pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check. Having vehicle mechanical experience is beneficial, possessing a compatible manner with responsible young people is important, and being committed to a dependable and on-time work ethic, is required.
