Duties
- Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
- Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and techniques to offer innovative services
- Upsell additional services like hand or foot treatments, skincare add-ons, or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage retail sales of nail care products, cosmetics, and accessories through effective communication skills
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that adheres to health regulations and salon standards
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with specialization in nail technology required
- Proven experience in nail care services including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art
- Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing designs tailored to client preferences
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocols essential for maintaining a hygienic environment
- Familiarity with advanced treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, laser treatments or hair threading is a plus
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while providing exceptional service
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform detailed work efficiently
