We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, support our team, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Position Summary

The Marina Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house service, staff leadership, customer satisfaction, inventory management, and financial performance. Candidates with kitchen experience are strongly preferred, as this role requires close collaboration with culinary staff and the ability to support kitchen operations when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front- and back-of-house staff.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor labor costs, inventory levels, and operating expenses.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer retention.
• Assist with menu planning, special events, and seasonal promotions.
• Prepare reports related to sales, staffing, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience required.
• Kitchen or culinary experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory control, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing waterfront, marina, resort, or hospitality venues.
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety training.
• Experience with banquet, event, or catering operations.
• Strong problem-solving and guest relations skills.
