Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Tax Director to lead and oversee all tax-related functions for our organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide high-level tax planning and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of federal, state, and local tax compliance
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives
- Ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations
- Oversee preparation and review of complex tax returns
- Manage tax audits and work closely with external auditors and regulatory agencies
- Provide guidance to executive leadership on tax-related matters and business decisions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Taxation (required)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (required)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and California tax regulations
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
