This job contributes to Starbucks success by creating an accurate demand plan to support customer service targets while balancing the fiscal responsibility of inventory in the supply chain. As a senior demand planner, you will… * Create accurate demand plan to support beverage components and other behind the bar item. * Compare demand plans to business and financial plans to determine gaps and recommend supply chain execution to support the risks and opportunities of these gaps in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. * Lead cross-functional process meetings and improvements to support limited time offerings and core components to help build a better forecast We’d love to hear from people with: * Experience in supply and demand planning – 5 years * Preferred BA/BS degree, APICS certification and knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and/or other Supply Chain Planning or Continuous Improvement methodologies As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
