Food Service Supervisor

Starbird Chicken invites experienced hospitality professionals to apply for the position of Food Service Supervisor at our Seattle, WA location. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.30 to $24.00 per hour, plus tips, within a values-driven and growth-oriented environment. FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• 1 years of experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, or food service
• Experience with opening and closing procedures
• Ability to lead staff and supervise teams as well as coach and develop team members
• Ability to obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days
• Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours, lift 30 lbs, and work safely in a kitchen
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety standards, and guest service standards
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts

Schedule: The Food Service Supervisor will work variable shifts scheduled within business hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to operational needs.

In this role, you will begin each day as a visible leader in the restaurant, ensuring smooth operations and upholding the highest standards of hospitality. Your responsibilities will include supervising guest service, maintaining cleanliness, and addressing concerns to guarantee a positive dining experience. You will provide guidance and coaching to team members, oversee workflow and station assignments, and manage operational routines such as opening, closing, cash handling, and compliance checks. Throughout your shift, you will monitor quality, safety protocols, and support front-of-house activities during busy periods. By fostering teamwork and reinforcing company values, you will help build a high-performing, supportive work environment and contribute to the development of future leaders.
