Local CDL-A Driver – Railyard Moves | Waxahachie, TX

Texas Universal Stars is hiring dependable Local CDL-A Drivers for railyard moves in Waxahachie, Texas.

This is local work with daily home time. Drivers will shuttle chassis between designated railyard locations in the DFW area.

Pay & Schedule

• $200–$225 per day
• Home daily
• Weekday and weekend options available
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Once your assigned workload is completed, you are allowed to go home. You are not required to remain for the entire 12-hour shift window after completing your assigned moves.

What You'll Do

• Shuttle chassis between designated railyard locations
• Complete assigned moves safely and efficiently
• Perform required pre-trip/post-trip inspections
• Follow company and railyard safety procedures
• Communicate with dispatch and operations as needed
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency while operating safely

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A
• Minimum 2 years of commercial/CDL driving experience
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must be able to work efficiently and complete assigned moves
• Must follow all company, DOT, and railyard safety requirements
• Railyard/intermodal experience is preferred but not required
