Star Valley Provisions, a proud distributor of premium Boar’s Head Brand products, is seeking an energetic and dependable Brand Representative to join our team. This full-time role combines account management, product merchandising, and in-store product demonstration across supermarket accounts in the Roanoke Valley.
What You'll Do:
- Manage inventory and place replenishment orders at assigned supermarket accounts.
- Merchandise deli and retail cases, rotate perishable items, check “sell-by” dates, and price products.
- Set up and lead engaging in-store sampling events featuring Boar’s Head meats and cheeses.
- Interact with customers and store staff to promote product knowledge, ensure proper service levels, and drive sales.
- Maintain clean, visually appealing displays and demo stations that align with brand standards.
- Use a deli slicer safely and follow food safety/sanitation practices.
- Support monthly sales initiatives and communicate in-store conditions and customer feedback.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must live in or near Roanoke, VA.
- A positive, outgoing attitude and genuine love for great food and customer interaction.
- 1 year of experience in inventory/order management, customer service, or food handling.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift 25–50 lbs., and tolerate cold environments briefly.
- Availability for a flexible schedule including weekend hours.
- Smartphone with internet access for basic communication and reporting.
- Associate Degree (Preferred).
