Lab Tech- Seasonal

The ideal schedule is 7am-4:30pm. Must be available to work overtime and weekends.Compensation: $29.35 per hourResponsibilities:Performs sample preparations and extractions for chemical and/or microbiological samples.Conducts level appropriate chemical and/or microbiological analyses per established procedures.Enters sample identification into LIMS and ensures correctness of information and the number of samples per specification.Performs routine laboratory housekeeping duties including but not limited to organizing, cleaning, sample disposal and hazardous waste disposal.Completes level appropriate steps for laboratory proficiency tests.Effectively prioritizes analytical workload to ensure timelines are met for shipment.Required to perform other tasks as needed or assigned by management.Required Minimum Qualifications:Education Level and Focus:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Must be strong in ChemistrySkills and Abilities:Basic math (arithmetic), computer skills (MS Office), and data entry (10 key at 4,000 KPM) required. Understanding of HACCP, GMPs/GLPs and lab safety practices. Must be able to read/interpret product specifications.
