We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Collect and process specimens while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk calendar effectively.
- Provide information regarding laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and services offered.
- Assist with blood sampling, venipuncture, and vital signs as needed.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Handle inquiries related to laboratory techniques and physiology knowledge.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and processing techniques is essential.
- Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on providing compassionate care.
- Experience in phlebotomy or blood sampling is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
